If you're looking for alternative ways to store your clothes, check out the wild work of Vienna-based design company, Walking Chair. Established in 2002, it is a collaboration between Lomo lovers, Karl Emilio Pircher (designer of the Super Sampler) and Fidel Peugeot (creator of a font family for the Lomographic Society!). Together they've created Bottleboy, a bizarre storage system for clothes, hats and bags made from waste, or, as the designers call it, "mull". The system works like this: you purchase either empty Bottleboys (€19.50 for the basic set) or pre-filled by Pircher and Peugeot (€29.50). If you buy empties, fill them with a substance of your choice, heat, seal and pop on the wall. To go with your Bottleboys, you could get Single, a pillow with arms that "presents" your clothes. It's a sort of mannequin-meets-mate designed to be a companion as well as clothes model. You buy it with (€75) or without (€60) the T-shirt, either way you'll always have a well dressed friend around. Currently, Single is only available in limited quantities, so order one now if you need a fashionable friend.
