Treat your trainers to a bit of bling

Whatever type of trainer you choose, chances are you are constantly encountering people wearing the same ones. The new, easy and elegant way to individualise your trainers is to treat to them to a bit of bling. Trainer jewellery is a growing trend in the UK - chances are it won't be long before the likes of Stüssy bring out their own limited edition range. Thread silver charms or small silver rings onto your laces, or try weaving a short silver chain around your laces and through the rivets. If you are passionate about your absolute favourite trainers, you might even be inspired to get a replica of them made into a charm by a local jeweller - this won't be cheap but it will be a unique feature and a guaranteed talking point. And just because your trainers don't have ears, doesn't mean they can't wear earrings - amber, amethyst and aquamarine studs can look great (just be careful to file the backs down, or use studs made for eyebrow piercings).
