Another vs SpruceSeptember sees the launch of two new bi-annual fashion magazines. Spruce is a global glossy from the people who brought us Wallpaper. Issue One features free patterns, a feature on luxury brands and profiles of fashion hot shots. Another is a trans-atlantic title from the publishers of Dazed & Confused. Art directed in New York but produced in London, Another's launch issue has plenty of familiar fashion names (Nick Knight, Katy England, David Sims and Helmut Newton) and brands (Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Fendi and Prada). Both mags are more Bond Street than Old Street.
