Clever cobblingThis century, modular footwear is set to revolutionise shoe design. German shoe company, Trippen, has developed two shoe styles which feature both high and low heels - just choose which one you want to wear today! Spanish cobblers Camper recently launched the Wabi - a shoe which moulds to your foot, and the UK's Rosemary Wallin has designed a women's shoe with interchangeable heels which allow you to control both the style and height. Rosemary believes that the future of shoe design lies in realising the "potential for mass-customisation of both aesthetics and performance using a flexible modular system and new materials."
