Hot flip flopsDon't bother saving up for a pair of couture Jimmy Choos because a new UK company, Tom Toms, has created a range of DIY made-to-measure flip flops. Choose from a women's size 2 to 7, remove from the packet, pop in the microwave for about two minutes (see manufacturer's instructions for exact cooking times), put the warm flip flops on your plates and moments later, they'll have moulded to the exact shape of your feet. Unfortunately, this footwear phenomenon won't be available in the UK until early 2002 - look out for them in department stores, priced £20.
