Bag peopleVaseline Life In A Bag is the title of a new exhibition which tracks the history of the handbag through five decades. Curated by historian Robert Opie, the exhibition kicks off with a series of nude photographs of famous women - including Laura Bailey, Ruby Hammer and Kelis - with their favourite handbag. One bag has been chosen to represent each decade spanning 1950s-1990s and alongside these there will be a Bag Of The Future as designed by celebrated Irish bag woman, Orla Kiely. In association with the event, sponsor Vaseline has donated £10,000 to cancer charity The Gilda's Club.
