Steamy KurtBoth French Connection and YSL's Opium perfume have had their images revamped with controversial advertising, resulting in complaints to the Advertising Standards Authority. Now, a steamy ad for Kurt Geiger - a footwear company once considered rather staid - has caused uproar. While the complaints about the ad, in which the models "seemed to be having sex" were not upheld, Kurt Geiger said the campaign was designed to reflect the product range's styling and its target customer. Geiger's new winter campaign, shot in artist Tracey Emin's home town of Margate, is set to raise the brand's profile further. |
