Old jeansEarlier this year, Levi's paid £32,000 for a very battered over 120 years old pair of its jeans to add to its archive. Since then the jeans, believed to be the oldest pair of blue jeans known in existence, have been studied by Levi's designers and 500 pairs of faithful to the original limited edition jeans will be available from Levi's Vintage Clothing this November. Most likely worn by a miner, the original jeans' fabric, stitching, buttons and details including a pen knife pocket have been replicated in the Nevada jean which will cost approximately $400.
