Suits you, madamRecently, a host of female celebs have been snapped in suits and this year top tailoring is big again. High street stores are full of cheapie versions, but if you want good quality you are better off going second-hand. Tailors are trained to make clothes that last a lifetime so local charity shops and jumble sales always have a constant supply. Watch out for suits by tailoring legends (especially Tommy Nutter and Dougie Millings) and don't worry if you find one which doesn't fit properly because every city has tailors who offer reasonable alteration services - just look in the phone book. |
