Miyake at the V&A

Issey Miyake is one of the most innovative designers working today so don't miss the chance to see his latest Pleats Please collection at the V&A on May 25. Pleats Please clothes are made from a single piece of cloth which is cut, sewn and then imprinted with the "memory of pleats creating a unique garment". Models will be walking around the museum wearing the collection (at 1pm, 4pm and 6.30pm) and there's a lecture by Norma Starszakowna (2.30pm). A Miyake display will be on show in the museum from May 11 until June 1.
  • Victoria & Albert Museum, Cromwell Road, London SW7, tel: 020 7942 2000
  • Admission £5, free entry every Wednesday in May (any other day after 4.30pm)
