Return of the macRaincoats are usually associated with grannies but designers have reworked the classic garment and made it fashionable again, just in time for the arrival of sporadic April showers. Young designer Scott Henshall has completely deconstructed raincoats - informally known as macs - for his spring/summer 2001 collection whilst Clements Ribeiro has included cropped versions of the coat in its current range. British company Dannimac has also reworked its offerings for spring and its revamped raincoats now have a much younger, edgier look priced from around £50.
