Press pixSince 1972, Nikon annually invites professional press snappers in the UK to take part in a photography contest. Entrants must submit an image that fits into one of eight categories including fashion, arts and entertainment, and the winning pictures are compiled into a celebratory book each year. The latest edition - entitled Nikon Press Awards 2001, even though the pics were snapped during 2000 - is now available to buy. The book includes reprints of many memorable moments including Jeff Mitchell's famous photo of Tony Blair looking uncannily like a monkey, which alone makes it a sensible purchase.
