Party pantsGet ready to throw away your special 'going out' knickers because contraceptive pants are coming. Janesway are cotton and latex knickers being developed in the US. They're disposable, biodegradable and are "built to fit inside a woman" with the cotton part serving "as a holder for the latex portion which covers the entire genital area and extends into the vagina". Trials are still taking place (under US regulations Janesway must undergo rigorous testing before going on sale) and designers are developing "sexier" versions which are also re-usable.
