Banned ads onlineFrench Connection defied censors who banned its recent Kinky Bugger TV ad by running it on the web. Now the Ministry of Sound has followed a similar route since its TV and cinema ad for The Annual Spring 2001 compilation CD has been banned by the British Advertising Clearance Centre, because a model exposed a nipple. Photographer Rankin, who filmed the original offending ad and had to re-shoot a clothed version suitable for television, also shot a naked version which can only be viewed on the Ministry of Sound's website. |
