Chaggar's showcaseAmrik Chaggar, graduate of the Surrey Institute and reigning Young Tailor of the Year, will showcase his latest collection in Hong Kong next week. Since winning the award last year, Chaggar has set up his own label, opened a workshop and been busy designing bespoke pieces for private clients. His latest collection, sponsored by the British Fashion Council, features menswear and womenswear inspired by Hong Kong. "I want to show at Fashion Week in September," says Chaggar. "I have been working flat out. I'm still focusing on tailoring and for this collection I have used lots of really bright colours and leather."
