Young at Art

Find out how creative 11 to 19-year-olds and their teachers are these days by heading to the Young at Art Awards 2001 exhibition at the London Institute Gallery. Open to both pupils and teachers alike, the third annual awards exhibition highlights work produced in secondary schools throughout the Greater London region. This year's show includes themes of Environmental Materials, Identity and Language and exhibits include Aztec-inspired textiles, a life-size figure of a man modelled from tape and string, as well as paper coats adorned with peppermints and masonry nails.
