Mad hattersHats are never really out of fashion, but the past couple of seasons have seen headgear return to the forefront of style. Berets, pillbox hats and even hideous Stetsons have adorned cool heads recently but come winter, only truly bizarre headwear will do. Wonky top hats feature in J Maskrey's recent collection, whilst Antonio Berardi favours floppy flat caps. McQueen has stuck to military chic featuring a scary skull hat complete with plumage and Arkadius has opted for unusual twig-like creations for his autumn/winter 2001 show. Be prepared for some weird and wonderful high street versions of them next season. |
