Remote control modelsIt's a well known fact that models occasionally get a little confused on catwalks. Sometimes they fall over, bang into things, walk in the wrong direction and even into each other but all these hazards were avoided at Issey Miyake's show in Paris on Monday, thanks to Phonak. The Swiss company, which produces hearing systems, adapted regular hearing aids so they'd receive transmissions. As a result, models wearing the communication devices received complex instructions from the show's choreographer whilst on the catwalk. The show went smoothly, so watch out for more remote control models on international runways soon. |
