Anti-fab four T-shirtsFashionistas have fallen in love with Burro's new 'I Hate The Beatles' digitised print T-shirts. Designer Olaf Parker says: "The message is anti-adulation of the past... The Beatles represent this wholesale adulation of past eras. Their songs may have meant something in their historical context, but their music and all it represents is now mostly irrelevant other than as history. Really, what we're trying to say is that the future is more important, not the past." Priced £30, they're available from Burro (6 Newburgh Street, London W1 and 29 Floral Street, London WC2) while stocks last. |
