If you consider you have made a significant contribution to contemporary ceramics over the last five years, applications for the £15,000 Jerwood Applied Arts Prize 2001: Ceramics are now being invited. The Prize celebrates excellence and originality in contemporary applied arts and a different specialism is chosen each year. Last year's prize was won by jeweller Jacqueline Mina and previous Prizes have been awarded to fashion and furniture designers. The closing date for applications is 16 March and the shortlist will be announced in April.
