Cigarettes and alcoholAlexander McQueen may have requested further government funding for UK designers last week, but in the meantime designers have been turning to narcotics for financial support. Andrew Groves, Marcus Lupfer, Matthew Williamson and Michiko Koshino are just a few of the notable number of designers who were sponsored by alcohol and cigarette companies during the recent London Fashion Week. Firms including Möet & Chandon, Bailey's and even K Cider all supported UK talent and gained free and fashionable publicity during the event. |
