Trendy teaEven though every city in the UK is awash with US style coffee shops, tea drinking looks like coming back into fashion. During London Fashion Week, afternoon tea and tiny triangular sandwiches were served by Ghost in the swanky ballroom of the Grovesnor Hotel. Eley Kishimoto passed on a conventional catwalk show and instead invited guests to join them for afternoon tea served by uniformed waitresses in heart-patterned crockery designed by themselves. Models glided around tables while guests sipped their cha. Further signs of the tea trend include the popularity of leaf motifs and shades of tea rose and green tea. |
