Sloane clonesOnce the butt of jokes and objects of ridicule, Sloane Rangers are now fashion icons. Think back to Fergie and Lady Di - before they became royal wives - and the other wealthy lads and lasses who haunted Chelsea in the 80s and you have the look. Now the Sloane uniform including Alice bands, piecrust collar blouses, navy pleated skirts, strings of pearls and rugger shirts are back. Perversely though, it's more likely to be trendy types who frequent the down market areas of the East End, such as Hoxton and Shoreditch who are sporting the look today. |
