McQueen's hat trickEven though McQueen once scrawled 'c**t' inside Prince Charles' jacket lining, HRH still presented him with the Designer of the Year prize at the Rover British Fashion Awards on Tuesday. Bad boy McQueen, who was also awarded the title in 1996 and jointly in 1997, beat competitors Julien Macdonald and Clements Ribeiro to the prize. Other award winners include Kate Moss who was named as British Model of the Year, Stella McCartney was voted as the New Generation Designer of the Year and Burberry was awarded the Contemporary Collections Award. |
