Designing photographerDesigner Karl Lagerfeld is used to being behind the camera - he's shot ad campaigns for both his own and the Chanel labels and had several books of his photos published. In his new photographic book, Aktstrakt (£16, published by Steidl, available from all good bookshops in March) Karl tackles the subject of "Form" and in doing so attempts to broaden "the concept of art, including man's physicality". This translates into moody, sepia tinted shots of well-toned naked men either partially hidden by or holding large shapes. |
