Wedding bellesIn the tradition of couture, the final outfit of a collection is a bridal gown. Although ready-to-wear shows don't usually follow such rules, this Fashion Week has seen a revival of interest in the wedding dress. Arkadius ended his Prostitution? collection with a stunning white net dress filled with helium balloons and Russell Sage opted to show his mother's original wedding dress. The dress, entitled "26.12.1960 - 2.30pm" was in storage for 40 years but Russell didn't attempt to repair it, he just let the crumbling garment speak for itself. |
