Then visit the National Portrait Gallery's exhibition of 150 portraits by the late Vogue photographer, Horst P Horst. Highly posed, beautifully lit and often dramatic, Horst's work is a stark contrast to today's warts and all imagery. And it could be the direction to which modern photography is returning if the trend for airbrushed images is any indicator. Subjects featured in Horst Portraits: 60 Years of Style (March 1 - June 3), include Coco Chanel, Marlene Dietrich and Katherine Hepburn. Admission costs £5, concessions £3. |
