The FirmPhotographer Jocelyn Bain Hogg's latest book The Firm "draws back the curtains on London's East End gangsters" and captures every facet of the modern day villain. From early 1999, Jocelyn was allowed unprecedented access to the London underworld, including the gangsters who inspired Guy Ritchie's Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Whether snapped in their nightclubs, strip joints, boardrooms or bathrooms, these portraits of the East End's finest depict a world where old-fashioned rules apply: friends and family come first, no swearing in front of the ladies and above all no grassing. The Firm, priced £40, by Westzone Publishing is available from 16 February. |
