Nothing is finalIn an attempt to shorten the distance between inspiration and implementation, Julian Roberts' latest nothing nothing range - which is "like a sketchbook of ideas" - toys with the notions of 'finality'. The 15 new garments created for autumn/winter 2001 are crafted from slithers of magazines, notebooks, decorative papers and reconstructed florals from the archive of his new sponsor Laura Ashley. The collection, which will be shown during London Fashion Week, is the last range to be designed as part of the nothing nothing project as next year, Roberts plans to design under his own name. |
