Window shockersMissed the 'Angels' from Stringfellows pole-dancing in Selfridges windows to promote new summer collections? Don't fret. Selfridges has filmed the dancers, (wearing designs by Julien Macdonald and Matthew Williamson amongst others) to show to customers in-store. From next week (February 8 until March 13) Selfridges windows will feature work entered into the first Perrier-Jouet Selfridges Design Prize. Finalists include Ron Arad, Tom Dixon and Mark Newson and the £20,000 prize, announced on March 6 , will be awarded to the UK designer judged to have made the most significant contribution to product design today. |
