Students vs AdidasA bunch of comprehensive school children have spear-headed a high profile campaign to stop Adidas and other sports companies exploiting Asian workers. Kids from Hampstead Comprehensive school who recently grilled Adidas on the Mark Thomas Product about trade practices have launched their own website. Unfair Trade features posters of Adidas football boots designed by students. Slogans include 'Crudidas' and 'Adidas - Walking on others'. Geography teacher Noel Jenkins helped his class launch Unfair Trade but hopes "they'll take complete responsibility for the site" soon and is urging other kids to get involved. |
