Yohji Yamamoto's menswear may be influenced by French 1930s gangsters recently, but the reality of gun culture in Britain is far from glamorous. There's been so many shootings amongst rival black gangs in one area of London, that the local council and police have introduced poster ads with a strong anti-gun message. And if the public thought the Sophie Dahl Opium ads were shocking, wait until they get an eyeful of these. The posters, which have just been displayed in Harlesden, North West London, feature a graphic photo of a young black man who's been shot laying on a pavement.
