Turning JapaneseDuring May, Selfridges in London's Oxford Street will be transformed into a miniature Tokyo. Called 'Tokyo Life' every aspect of Selfridges will turn Japanese, from merchandise to store guides to vending machines. After checking out the art installations and exhibitions by young cutting-edge Japanese artists, snap up Hello Kitty collectors packs, clothing from underground labels including Farmyard Goods, T-shirts from Shin & Company, rare Evisu jeans together with limited numbers of T-shirts, camouflage trousers and shirts from its precursor, Evis. Selfridges in Manchester will also offer an extensive range of Japanese merchandise. |
