Proud portraitsAward winning photographer Eileen Perrier has been taking portraits of visitors to the Afro Hair and Beauty Show for some years. Her photographs can be seen at The Centre of Attention Gallery (15 Cottons Gardens, London E2, telephone: 020 7729 0699) from Saturday February 3 to February 25. Perrier's images capture the 'relaxed environment' of the event - as well as some wicked hairdos and fashions. Whilst visiting the shows Perrier has also started a new hobby - collecting some of the weird and wonderful Afro hair products sold there. |
