Game holdersCobbler Helen Richard was commissioned by Nintendo to design six pairs of shoes incorporating a Game Boy Colour. Helen's shoes can be seen at Candid Arts (3 Torrens Street, Islington, London EC1, enquiries 020 7837 4237) from February 8. Designed for promotional purposes only, the shoes feature platforms with a Game Boy Colour inserted into the heel, strapped to the front of a boot and resting on the toe. The exhibition also includes award winners of Nintendo's Game Boy Colour photographic competition. Each Game Boy Colour was given a mood and resulting photos had to visualise it. |
