Sotheby's duo

A number of fashion designers have tried their hands at something new for the 'Contemporary Decorative Arts' exhibition at Sotheby's (24-35 New Bond Street, London W1, February 14-22). Manolo Blahnik has created a chair in collaboration with a furniture designer, Philip Treacy found inspiration from one of his hat blocks to also design a chair and shoe maestro Patrick Cox has created several glass pieces including a glass urn decorated with the Union Jack. Showing at the same time is 'Outmoded' - an exhibition with an outdoors theme - which includes a grass coat by artists Heather Ackroyd and Dan Harvey.
