Invisible London

Beginning at Heathrow Airport's international arrivals, 'Invisible London' (£10, published by Ellipsis, available now from all good bookshops) journeys through London before coming to rest in the East End's Brick Lane, documenting art as it goes. The art appearing in the book comes from 'Invisible Museum', "a nomadic collection of contemporary art with no permanent home" and which belongs to an international collector. These works are loaned to friends, artists and museums and photographed in situ to document the loan. 'Invisible London' includes work by contemporary artists including Richard Billingham, Douglas Gordon, Louise Bourgeois and Matthew Barney.
