Square eyes prizeA young artist who paints portraits of 'Eastenders' and 'The Royle Family' characters has won the The Centre of Attention's inaugural Painting Prize. Members of the public voted Josie McCoy's paintings, which use familiar TV faces to "engage the viewer with a recognisable image seen out of context", as the best amongst the work of nine other London-based artists.
