Go nakedA man arrested for public nudity walked free from court this week. Vincent Bethell prefers to forgo fashion in favour of fresh air. Although public nudity is still illegal, the jury at the court trial - where Bethell appeared naked - cleared the 28-year-old of 'causing a public nuisance'. Bethell told the court that nudity was more acceptable today and cited the recent trend for home-made Subbuteo table football plastic streakers as proof. Looking at the skimpy creations on many catwalks and the outfits preferred by the likes of Britney Spears, he could be right. |
