Beautiful gameMullets are hip again judging by recent Gucci ads, but the hairstyle has always been synonymous with footballers. If you fancy gawping at the real thing together with the games' other favourite do, the bubble perm, head to 'True Football' (Proud Galleries, 5 Buckingham Street, London WC2, enquiries 020 7839 4942) from 12th January. As well as a whole section devoted to 'Mullets and Moustaches', the exhibition includes images of Maradona's infamous Hand of God goal, Gazza crying and fans invading the pitch. 'True Football' is part of an ongoing Budweiser project to celebrate football from a fans' perspective. |
