Gorillaz in our midstAlthough Gorillaz is an artificially created band they're a far cry from their primate cousins, The Monkees. Gorillaz is made up of animated alter-egos of musicians and artists including Blur's Damon Albarn and Tank Girl creator Jamie Hewlett. The band has released a single ('Tomorrow Comes Today'), has an album due out in April and also hosts a rather smart website. There you can join the "turbo-boosted four piece in overdrive", Murdoc, 2-D, Noodle and Russel, for some fun and games in their studios - including a chance to spray some graf in the loos. |
