Le style FrancaisOne of the hot accessories of this season is a black beret but if you want to know the authentic way to wear one, head to the Hayward Gallery's photographic exhibition, 'Brassai: The Soul of Paris' from 22nd February. Celebrating the centenary of Brassai's birth, this major retrospective of his work brings together over 250 photos, drawings and sculptures. Brassai's evocative images of nocturnal Paris complete with "prostitutes and thugs, night cafes, dance halls and fog shrouded streets" will be on show together with his nude studies in collaboration with Surrealist artists such as Salvador Dali. |
