Tapestry trendLast summer we went dotty for spots but what will be the must-have pattern for spring 2001? Well, stripes look like the most accessible answer, but for a more unusual alternative try tapestry instead. Clements Ribeiro lead the way in reclaiming tapestry from reproduction Tudor furniture, putting it into our wardrobes. The husband and wife duo sent jackets, tops and trousers in a Jacobean tapestry print down the spring/summer 2001 catwalk, all cut with a punky attitude. Check out soft-furnishing fabrics for a similar effect, if you fancy running yourself up a tapestry outfit before the real gear hits the shops. |
