Last year artists Kirsten Lavers and chris cheek asked people to nominate 'a thing of their own that they considered to be not worth keeping and suggest why'. The top 100 items - including Barbie shoes, Thunderbird pyjamas and an original Brut 33 soap - have now been selected and appear in 'The Millennium Collection Catalogue' (£7.50, from Object Books, 89a Ekin Road, Cambridge CB5 8PT). If you get cabin fever over Christmas, the Millennium Collection's travelling exhibition will be at car boot sales in Hounslow (30th December) and Brighton (31st December).
