So long 'Scene'?

Good news and bad news for fans of former fashion glossy 'Scene', which halted production at the end of 1999 to develop a website. Although Scene Online has finally launched after a year in development with features on fashion, beauty and culture, you may have to be quick to catch it. Some editorial personnel have been laid off, but publisher Trevor Spiro is keeping stumm about whether reports that the site is going to be revamped and aimed at the fashion industry are true due to "commercial considerations".
