Being a cameraFeaturing photography and other related works, the 'I am a Camera' exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery (98a Boundary Road, London NW8, enquiries 020 7624 8299, from 18th January to 25th March 2001) will blur the boundaries between photographs and paintings. Included in the show is American 'Vogue's' high society photographer Jessica Craig-Martin, who "unveils human nature with a clarity and directness that steers a path between the harsh and the empathetic", Richard Billingham's raw photos of his family and Nan Goldin's images of "those who have put aside the comfort and boredom of the mainstream to live life on the edge". |
