French fruity fashion banNot only have the French banned our meat, but now they're trying to ban risqué fashion photography starring British models. A French feminist group called Chiennes de Garde - or Watch Bitches - is demanding that provocative images of women, which it believes are demeaning to womankind, be banned. Speaking to the 'London Evening Standard', Chiennes de Garde president Isabelle Alonso cited Sophie Dahl in the Opium and Liberty Ross in the Ungaro ads as being amongst the worst offenders. Alonso also believes it is the model's responsibility not to be photographed in sexy poses. |
