DIY dainties If you've taken a liking to Prada's fur tippets but don't have enough cash and won't wear real fur, just follow the lead of Helene Harris and Laura Yorston, student winners of the TRAID (Textile Recycling for Aid and International Development) fashion design competition and make your own. These Brighton University students created outfits including recycled tippets that were judged amongst the best by Red or Dead founder Wayne Hemingway in a competition launching the new TRAID shop in Brighton. Simply cut and sew second-hand fur or fake coats into original tippets and tie around the shoulders with attached ribbons. Who needs Prada now?
