Star togs Cher is not known for her understated dress sense, but the orange backless number, with a beaded bull design - which she wore on 'The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour' back in the 70s - is surprisingly so. Cher's dress is just one of the items from the Jane Withers Collection of Hollywood memorabilia that is up for auction via Fine Arts Brokerage from 24th November. Jane Withers - herself a Hollywood actress - has spent many years building up her collection which includes a bodice worn by Marilyn Monroe in the 'River of No Return', personal items and a set of six chairs with bright yellow plastic seats which were once owned by Liberace.
