Dream on It's a glossy coffee table book, but 'Dreamland' by photographer Jeff Burton (published by PowerHouse Books, £35, available in December from all good bookshops), is not to be left lying around when granny pops round for a cuppa. Billed as "a book to be savoured for repeated viewing pleasure", Burton's tome documents the apparently "well worn but little known trail from the Hollywood sign to the San Fernando valley" - or the porn industry in which he works. Many of Burton's photos are innocent enough, trees silhouetted against a blue sky, but it's "the veritable picnics of fragmented flesh" or two men reflected in a puddle on a shower floor having anal sex, that may cause granny to choke on her French fancy.
